This
is a website dedicated to the character of Alice Pieszecki so all fanfics
on this website MUST have her as
a central character. That's the only rule. But there is a clause for
automatic fic rejection.
REJECTION
CLAUSE:
Writing Alice horribly out of character.
What's
out of character? How do I know if I'm writing Alice that way? And horribly
so? Out of character is writing an established fictional character,
such as Alice, exactly opposite of how they've been portrayed in the
original work. Chances are if you're writing Alice as climbing through
air ducts to spy on people, doped up on tons of drugs and shooting heroin,
trying to kill herself by leaping off a roof after Dana dies, or magically
still being in love with Bette after years and years of not dating her
then you're probably guilty of writing Alice horribly out of character
and we won't take your fic. This doesn't mean we won't accept alternate
universe fics where, thank the gods, Dana doesn't die or Alice is a
rock singer. We'll happily take those fics! As long as Alice doesn't
act like someone who doesn't remotely resemble herself on The L Word.
That's
it, folks. The one rule and one clause. We have the fanfics seperated
into specific sections which is explained in the link that's labeled
SHIPS.
That page will tell you exactly where your fic fits in. So please, submit
your fic if it follows the one rule and one clause we have because we
would absolutely love to have them. There needs to be more Alice fanfic
and love on the net, we truly and honestly believe that! Help fulfill
our Alice fangirl dreams and send some much need fic our way.
Here
is what we absolutely need from you with a submission though. The first
three things MUST be in the actual
email submission and at the start of the actual fanfic itself. This
is to ensure we make sure that all fanfics are credited correctly and
as the author wishes.
